Windhoff Bahn- und Anlagentechnik GmbH, Rheine – as of March 2002 a member of Georgsmarienhütte Holding GmbH – is a process and customer orientated company dedicated to continuous advance and improvement in all sectors.

As such, Windhoff reports the repeated certification to the internationally approved standard for its quality management system to DIN ISO 9001:2000 on 25. June of this year by DNV Zertifizierung und Umweltgutachter GmbH, Essen. As such, Windhoff has successfully been certified to the new revision of this standard more than six months ahead of the proposed deadline.

A work safety management system is another focal point at the newly organised company. The system will be integrated by the end of 2002 in compliance with the SCC** standard (Safety Certificate for Contractors), and pertinent certification will also be performed by DNV Zertifizierung und Umweltgutachter GmbH. The implementation of this safety measure is another step towards a fully integrated corporate management system. Environmental management to DIN EN ISO 14001 is the next item on the agenda.

These activities show that the company's long tradition has been successfully transferred into future and market orientated progress for that competitive edge in the international arena.
