First rail vehicle with
TSI-compliant approval
A significant step forward for the rail vehicle industry: the MPV® VentuS® Type GAF is the first auxiliary vehicle in Germany to receive approval for placing vehicles on the market (GIF) in accordance with the European TSI regulations as part of the 4th Railway Package.
The official approval was granted by the Federal Railway Authority without delay and, for further type conformities, even ahead of schedule. With the type approval obtained and the modular system of the MPV® VentuS®, WINDHOFF can bring further vehicles onto the market efficiently and economically.
In addition to the GIF, the work permit and general work authorization were also issued by the DB InfraGO testing organization.
